Saint John the Baptist Elementary’s students have access to several different forms of educational technology, as the school believes in utilizing multiple sources to meet the students’ educational endeavors.

Saint John the Baptist Elementary has one computer lab, which is used for weekly classes (Grades Kindergarten-5). Through cross-curricular planning, the students learn a variety of programs (Type 2 Learn, Microsoft Word, Power Point …) while studying grade level curricula.

The school’s classrooms either have a Smart Board or a large HD TV monitor. These devices are controlled by the teacher’s computer and the teacher controls the information accessed.

Every classroom has Chromebooks, which students use to take Accelerated Reader quizzes, check their grades, and work on educational programs and more. The students also have access to three I-Pad carts, which are used to supplement both the Math and English Language Arts curricula through the utilization of various educations apps.
