Saint John the Baptist Elementary is a Diocesan school that opened in August 1999 as part of the Skaggs Catholic Center in Draper, Utah. The school serves Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students of all faiths - living across the Wasatch Front including Davis, Utah, Salt Lake, Summit and Tooele counties - and is committed to providing a quality education rooted in Catholic values.
Saint John the Baptist Elementary shares its beautiful 57-acre campus with Guardian Angel Daycare, Saint John the Baptist Middle School, Juan Diego Catholic High School and Saint John the Baptist Parish. These entities offer a unique cradle to college experience in Catholic education.
Saint John the Baptist Elementary serves to educate the whole child with a program that uniquely develops the spiritual, academic, social and physical growth of each child.
Each day begins with schoolwide prayer and recognition of the values embraced at Saint John the Baptist Elementary. As Christians, the students strive to follow in Jesus' footsteps. As learners, they try to do their best all of the time. As communicators, they listen actively and speak truly, and as citizens, they show respect to all of God's creation.
